SUPER SPACER TECHNOLOGY
In today’s changing world, radical new building techniques are demanded to meet the new challenges climate change has forced on us. Unrivaled Thermal Protection “Thermal efficiency through no presence of conductive metals” is the Super Spacer® hallmark.
WHAT IS SUPER SPACER?
100% Thermoset structural foam containing NO-Metal with integral 3A desiccant
Sealant and glass bonding
ALL FOAM, NO-METAL TECHNOLOGY
The SuperSpacer is 950 times less conductive than traditional metal spacers. Only a 100% foam spacer design helps keep energy from escaping through the least conductive edge possible
WARM EDGES = LESS ENERGY LOST

Simulations performed by Enermodal Engineering Ltd. using Window 5.2 and Therm 5.2 per NFRC100-2001. All air spaces are .500″ wide, IGUs are 24″x48
Metal spacers can drain the energy
of your high performance windows
up to
9.23°C
warmer temparature at the edge of the glass
CONDENSATION REDUCTION
Full Aluminum Spacer
With conventional aluminum spacers, condensation is a fact of life.
NO-Metal Super Spacer
Patented all-foam design dramatically reduces window heat/cold flow, delivering the clearest view in warm edge technology.
Condensation can lead to more than bacteria and moulds. It can increase the likelihood of fungi, viruses and mites that cause respiratory infections, allergies and asthma.
Super Spacer’s thermal performance assures comfortable humidity levels with reduced condensation.
UNIQUE REVERSE DUAL SEAL = LONGER LIFE
Super Spacer® sealed units have shown to have up to twenty times the life expectancy1 and less than 1% Argon gas loss after 5 years2 of single seal insulating glass systems available on the market today

1 The P-1 test is considered to be the world's toughest durability test. All units are put in hot boxes and are continuously exposed to 140°F (60°C), 95-100% humidity and constant UV bombardment. Each week of testing is approximately equivalent to one year of actual field use. 2 After being subjected to accelerated weather testing designed to simulate 5 years of actual service life. DURABILITY
Super Spacer’s outstanding durability is directly related to its edge seal design. Conventional dual-seal technology first laydown two polyisobutylene (PIB) moisture-barrier side beads on a metal spacer, backing them up on the outside with a structural sealant to hold the spacing system together
Super Spacer, however, reverses the process. Its structural seal is on the inside- pre-applied to the spaceritself. This takes the form of a pressure sensitive, acrylic adhesive backed up by hotmelt butyl or a comparable, low permeable sealant on the outside, where a gas/moisture barrier seal can do the most good.
NO-Metal = low U-Factor
Super Spacer® high-performance insulating glass
with argon fill provides low overall U-factor
Base case: 4/16/4 mm IG unit with aluminum spacer, air-filled and pyrolytic Low-E coating, wood or uPVC windows. TSS: Thermoset Spacer Technology
CUT THE NOISE
While windows sealed with Super Spacer protect you
from the foul weather beating on your house,
there’s something else they keep outside: “noise.”
With up to 2 decibels improved sound absorption over traditional metal spacers,
Super Spacer is a huge help in keeping noise out.
